Installation

Check the file format on your product page. Both normal-catalog editions and active Launch Offers provide immediate digital download after successful payment. EX5 and Source Code are separate formats and purchases.

Compiled EX5 products

Expert Advisor and indicator editions provide ready-to-run EX5 files. Their purchase does not include editable source code. Follow the steps below for these EX5 editions.

Find your MetaTrader data folder

Open MetaTrader 5 and select File → Open Data Folder. Open the MQL5 folder.

Place the file in the correct folder

  • Expert Advisors: copy the EX5 file into MQL5/Experts.
  • Indicators: copy the EX5 file into MQL5/Indicators.

Do not put an indicator in the Experts folder. SkyHammer Signal Pro is an indicator.

Load the tool

Return to MetaTrader 5. In the Navigator, right-click Expert Advisors or Indicators and select Refresh. If the tool does not appear, restart the terminal. Drag the tool onto your chosen chart.

Check your configuration

Use the symbol and timeframe specified for your configuration. Review the lot size, risk settings and trading permissions. For an Expert Advisor that places orders, enable Algo Trading when you are ready to test it.

Start with a demo account

Check the Experts and Journal tabs for messages. Test the configuration in a demo account before using real funds. Broker symbols, spreads and trading conditions can affect behaviour.

Editable MQ5/MQH source code

Source Code editions provide the editable files listed on their product pages. These are separate purchases from compiled EX5 editions. They require MetaTrader 5 for desktop and MetaEditor; an MQ5 source file is not a ready-to-run EX5 file. Follow any supplied project instructions and contact our EA developer @codedissector for help with the source project.

Both normal-catalog Source Code editions and Source Code Launch Offers provide immediate download after confirmed payment. Launch Offers cover only the advertised version and do not generate future-upgrade discount eligibility. Only normal-catalog purchases qualify: 80% off future EX5 versions or 50% off future Source Code versions of the same product and format. Read the update policy.
